La cellulose est un composant principal des parois cellulaires des plantes. Pour produire de la viscose, on extrait g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement la cellulose de sources v\u00e9g\u00e9tales comme le <strong>bois<\/strong> ou le <strong>bambou<\/strong>. Ce processus de transformation chimique permet d&rsquo;obtenir une fibre qui ressemble au toucher \u00e0 des mati\u00e8res naturelles comme la soie, tout en poss\u00e9dant certaines caract\u00e9ristiques sp\u00e9cifiques li\u00e9es aux fibres synth\u00e9tiques.<\/p><p>Le processus de fabrication de la viscose commence par la dissolution de la cellulose dans un<strong> solvant chimique<\/strong> pour cr\u00e9er une solution \u00e9paisse appel\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0viscose\u00a0\u00bb. Cette substance est ensuite fil\u00e9e pour produire des filaments continus. Ces filaments peuvent \u00eatre transform\u00e9s en fils et tiss\u00e9s pour fabriquer divers types de tissus. fin du <strong>19e si\u00e8cle<\/strong>. Elle fut invent\u00e9e par deux scientifiques britanniques, Charles Cross et Edward Bevan, en 1892. Leur objectif \u00e9tait de cr\u00e9er une alternative bon march\u00e9 \u00e0 la soie naturelle, co\u00fbteuse et souvent r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux classes ais\u00e9es. En 1905, la premi\u00e8re usine de production commerciale de viscose voit le jour, marquant ainsi le d\u00e9but de son utilisation \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle.\n<\/p>\n\n<p>\n    Les sources de cellulose utilis\u00e9es pour la production de viscose proviennent principalement de plantations de bois cultiv\u00e9es sp\u00e9cifiquement pour cet usage. Les for\u00eats g\u00e9r\u00e9es durablement sont parfois privil\u00e9gi\u00e9es pour minimiser l&rsquo;impact <strong>environnemental<\/strong> et promouvoir une approche plus respectueuse de l&rsquo;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me. Cependant, ces pratiques ne sont pas uniformes dans l&rsquo;industrie.\n<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-560d227e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"560d227e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Comment est produite la viscose ?<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4a843d3f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4a843d3f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"padding-bottom: 20px;\">Le processus de production de la viscose comporte plusieurs \u00e9tapes complexes :<\/p><ul><li style=\"padding-bottom: 20px;\"><strong>R\u00e9cup\u00e9ration de la cellulose :<\/strong> On utilise habituellement du bois (soit du pin, soit de l&rsquo;\u00e9pic\u00e9a) ou du <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sao-bio.fr\/blog\/blog-mode-ethique\/les-matieres-eco-responsables\/la-viscose-de-bambou-cest-quoi\/\">bambou<\/a> comme source principale de cellulose. Les for\u00eats exploit\u00e9es pour la production de fibres cellulosiques (incluant la viscose, le Lyocell, le Modal, etc.) couvrent environ 6,5 millions d&rsquo;hectares dans le monde, avec une demande croissante de 5 \u00e0 6 % par an (2020).<\/li><li style=\"padding-bottom: 20px;\"><strong>Dissolution :<\/strong> La cellulose est trait\u00e9e avec de l&rsquo;hydroxyde de sodium pour former une solution.<\/li><li style=\"padding-bottom: 20px;\"><strong>Xanthation :<\/strong> Cette solution est ensuite m\u00e9lang\u00e9e \u00e0 du disulfure de carbone pour produire du xanthate de cellulose, donnant \u00e0 la fois son \u00e9tat visqueux et son nom \u00e0 la substance.<\/li><li style=\"padding-bottom: 20px;\"><strong>Formation des filaments :<\/strong> Le m\u00e9lange obtenu est extrud\u00e9 \u00e0 travers des buses tr\u00e8s fines pour cr\u00e9er des filaments continus.
